Experience
Senior Software Engineer — DataRobot
Jul 2024 – Sep 2026
Delivered customer-facing workflows and production fixes across legacy-platform migration, customer-configurable evaluation, and model tuning. Worked directly with Product, UX, and backend engineers, with scope varying by initiative from requirements and technical design to hands-on implementation, testing, release, and production investigation.
- Enabled customers to evaluate supervised models against their own test data without returning to the legacy product by bringing the workflow into the new UI in about five months. Owned domain and legacy-flow research, requirements, frontend technical design and implementation, delivery sequencing, and testing through release. Consolidated multiple proposed upload points into one experiment-level entry point and staged delivery across five incremental releases; customers used the workflow in production. Case study
- Delivered the missing user-facing workflow for an existing model-tuning strategy required by a customer migrating from an end-of-life on-prem deployment. Implemented strategy selection and conditional settings, and validated request handling with backend engineers. The same gap affected two significant sales opportunities, three more late-stage prospects, and customer RFPs.
- Owned the product integration of an existing API-only capability for customer-defined model-evaluation metrics, a workstream tied to significant at-risk revenue and a separate renewal blocker. Defined requirements and delivery scope, built the React workflows, implemented the necessary Python endpoint and payload changes, and added integration tests at the validation seams. All three phases were built behind a feature flag; one UI fix was still in review when I left DataRobot. Case study
- Challenged a proposed two-file upload flow during Product and UX review because users received no validation feedback until both files were uploaded and they clicked Validate. Designed a progressive alternative that validated each file on upload and then cross-validated the pair; the adopted design removed the extra action and changed the Python API contract to accept files separately.
- Built and used a personal multi-agent engineering workflow throughout feature research, implementation, API work, testing, and maintenance. Delegated bounded tasks to specialized agents in isolated worktrees to keep up to four concurrent tracks moving while retaining responsibility for problem framing, architecture, code review, validation, and acceptance. For example, I used the workflow to trace why a customer-defined metric could be registered but not used for model optimization to two backend validation paths that assumed built-in metrics; confirmed the root cause with the backend lead and took the fix; its backend part merged. Frontend Solution Architect — Edvantis
Jun 2023 – Jul 2024
Combined technical coordination with hands-on frontend engineering within a 5–6 engineer team building a logistics platform with distributed micro-frontends. Clarified incomplete requirements and traced undocumented dependencies with frontend leads, backend engineers, and adjacent teams.
- Introduced and piloted upfront technical discovery and scoping after incomplete context caused rework and missed estimates. Documented requirements, mapped dependencies, and sequenced work into independently testable increments before grooming; for a tightly coupled, undocumented micro-frontend, reverse-engineered its behavior and dependencies into implementation-ready rewrite scope. This gave engineers explicit scope to review before estimation and exposed cross-team dependencies before implementation.
- Replaced manual CSV authoring for common mappings between customer database schemas and an internal model with an interactive editor. Reconstructed the supported DSL syntax and transformations, then designed and implemented a normalized in-memory model, bidirectional transformation layer, and virtualized tree rendering, enabling users to build those mappings visually while keeping scrolling and expansion responsive across schemas of approximately 1,000–2,000 nodes.
Lead Frontend Developer — SkillReveal
May 2021 – Apr 2023
Joined SkillReveal at inception as frontend lead in a six-person team building an interview and assessment product from a few initial design screens. Worked directly with the CEO on prioritization, feasibility, and usability, helping deliver the MVP in three months. During my tenure, the product reached 20 paying customers; ~4,000 registered users across client teams, interviewers, and candidates; and ~$15K MRR.
- Designed the frontend architecture for rapid product iteration around a Recoil-based atomic state model that separated UI from data and composed derived state with limited framework overhead. Established the approach from the first commit; its core stack and architecture remained in place throughout product development.
- Refactored the assessment page’s coupled state model after tracing sluggish score updates to page-wide re-renders. Restructured state and update flows so scoring, comments, and derived results triggered only dependent work, then released the change to production. The refactor ended page-wide re-renders during scoring; users reported better responsiveness, especially on mobile.
- Built a shared product component library on Material UI as the product expanded from its initial screens, translating its visual design and recurring UI patterns into reusable components used throughout the product.

Jonny Git · N-iX · Lohika · GlobalLogic · Viseven
Progressed from Web Developer to Senior and Lead Frontend Engineer, building frontend products across real-time trading, analytics, configurable workflows, desktop communication, and constrained media devices.
- Real-time and data-heavy interfaces — Built a browser feasibility prototype for migrating a .NET trading application, then joined the full team developing its production UI, where responsiveness was critical. For a separate real-time analytics dashboard, built D3/SVG visualizations and implemented manual virtualization to keep large lists responsive.
- Configurable workflows and visual builders — Built a questionnaire builder from scratch, designing both the editing UI and data-processing flow. Users assembled questionnaires from reusable components, and the builder generated JSON configurations consumed by the end-user interface.
- Desktop applications with web technologies — Migrated a Chrome-extension messaging application to a Node-WebKit desktop product supporting multi-window UI, chat, voice/video calls, file transfer, and location sharing.
- Specialized browser environments and UI tooling — Built HTML5 applications and an internal compatibility test for resource-constrained media-player devices running a customized Opera browser. Also built interactive e-detailing applications for pharmaceutical sales representatives using a custom JavaScript engine, and created a lightweight CSS framework for animated charts and data visualizations.
